We had a great stay even if short, comfortable and clean space in great surroundings, loved the welsh cakes and milk in the fridge. Beds were comfortable and loved the horses and dog!
Very pretty cottage located in a beautiful part of Pembrokeshire. Trip to the local pub and castle is well worth it, as are trips out to Freshwater West and Barafundle.
Super location for exploring an area of stunning natural beauty. Sally's farm and associated, stables and rooms are in super taste and set in gorgeous rolling hills close to Carew Castle/Mill.
So good to arrive to such a warm and cosy cottage with underfloor heating. We loved the stylish, bespoke bunk beds and the handmade cupboards in the master bedroom. And the thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers and Welsh cakes. We had a sneaky peak at the new Shepherd's Hut too, which is beautifully crafted with cupboards fashioned from elm from the estate. Thank you for being such great hosts, Sally and Jim.
The cottage is beautifully and sympathetically renovated throughout retaining lots of original features and characteristics. The location is fabulous. Quiet and peaceful but close to all the great attractions and stunning scenery that Pembrokeshire has to offer. Sally is a great host. Although we never actually met, communication was great via the Air BnB message system and any query or question was dealt with quickly. Highly recommended, great hosts!
Gorgeous cottage, lovely finish and very well equipped. We and the 3 dogs and 6 year old son felt instantly at home. We had the front door open most of the time and Noah ran about the farm with our dogs and Archie,Sally and Jims very friendly dog. Great location but very peaceful. Superb hosts will definitely be back to stay.

  • The stunning view from the top of Foel Eryr on the Preseli Hills by @jamievans96 | The Preseli Mountains, or Preseli Hills, whichever you prefer, rise out of the landscape to 536m in the northern half of Pembrokeshire and are in complete contrast to the relative lowlands of the south.

The landscape is wild moorland, heath and grassland and is home to a wide range of plants and invertebrates some of them quite rare.

The hills are the ideal location for some great walking away from the coastline.

Yr olygfa syfrdanol o ben Foel Eryr ar Fryniau Preseli gan @jamievans96 | Pa enw bynnag sydd well gennych chi, mae Bryniau neu Fynyddoedd y Preseli yng ngogledd Sir Benfro yn esgyn hyd at 536m, ac yn wrthgyferbyniad llwyr i wastadeddau’r de.

Mae’r rhosydd, y gweunydd, a’r glaswelltir yma’n gynefin i bob math o blanhigion a phryfed, gan gynnwys rhai sy’n eithaf prin.

Mae’r bryniau’n lle delfrydol ar gyfer cerdded oddi wrth yr arfordir.

  • The wonderfully wild Ceibwr Bay by @matthewjones75 | A tiny inlet of rocks and sand surrounded by tall cliffs. It’s definitely a wild and remote beach. Not good for swimmers but good for porpoise spotting🐬
Bar Ceibwr rhyfeddol o wyllt @matthewjones75 | Cilfach fechan o greigiau a thywod wedi’i hamgylchunu gan glogwyni uchel. Mae hwn yn draeth gwirioneddol wyllt ac anghysbell. Nid yw’n lle da i nofio ond mae’n dda ar gyfer gwylio llamhidyddion 🐬 #visitpembrokeshire

  • Late evening at Manorbier from @alexandrajj | Manorbier is a lovely seaside village with a superb sandy cove popular with surfers and a fine medieval castle overlooking the bay. The birthplace of Gerald of Wales (Giraldus Cambrensis) and a favourite haunt of George Bernard Shaw and Virginia Woolf.

Yn hwyr gyda'r nos yn Manorbier o @alexandrajj | Mae Maenorbŷr yn bentref glan y môr hyfryd gyda bae tywodlyd ardderchog sy’n boblogaidd gyda syrffwyr, a chastell hardd, canoloesol sy’n edrych dros y bae. Yma ganwyd Gerallt Gymro (Giraldus Cambrensis) ac roedd y pentref yn ffefryn gyda George Bernard Shaw a Virginia Woolf.

  • Caldey Island lighthouse @jamievans96 | Caldey Island is a short boat ride off the coast of Tenby #pembrokeshire.
Home to an order of Cistercian monks, the island produces its own perfume and chocolate, has scenic walking routes around the island and of course the stunning Priory beach.
